Project Manager

Location

Milwaukee, New Berlin, WI

• Oversees and administers all facets of the day to day operations of the various projects and activities.
• Serve as primary liaison with internal and external customers on all matters relating to project activities.
• Provide day to day problem solving as necessary on day to day project related needs and issues
• Primary contact for customer and outsourced resources when contract is awarded.
• Provide support to the sales team, independent reps and distributors.
• Provide technical support to production teams.
• Research technical requirements of projects
• Sourcing/Supplier research for special parts/items.
• Review drawings and specifications.
• Estimate labor and material costs for associated Bill of Materials requirements.
• Update and maintain information in database.
• Determines material requirements and procurement lead times.
• Control of drawing Revisions and Engineering documents.
• Coordinate and monitor customer supplied parts.
• Provide technical support to installation team as well as customers.
• Tack out of scope items/work.
• Coordinate the scheduling of DAR's and DER's with assistance from the Miami office.
• All aspects of customer relations to include complaints, concerns, questions, troubleshooting.
• Ability to work with sales, existing and new customers to access new opportunities.
• Ability to obtain new referrals and up sell products from new and existing customers.
• Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
• Thoroughly review and understand customer SOW (Statement of Work), and or RFQ (Request for Quote).
• Creation of customer quotation, long proposals, and management of subsequent orders.
• Purchase Order review and management of subsequent execution to meet all requirements.
• Occasional travel to support programs may be required. Possible domestic and international locations as required.
• Ability to assess contract compliance and product/service quality.
• Monitor profit margins of projects.
• Ability to provide technical coordination and management of development and/or implementation projects in area of expertise.
• Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
• Knowledge of industry requirements.
• Ability to read and understand drawing/blueprints.
• Ability to multi-task Outstanding communication skills, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to resolve customer complaints and concerns.
• Skilled in the use of computers, preferably in a PC, Windows based operating environment.

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
• Solid Organizational Skills
• Effective verbal and written communication skills E.O.E.
