IT Intern

The IT Intern will provide phone support in a Help Desk environment. It is also an opportunity to expand classroom knowledge and grow in the IT discipline.

Key responsibilities that this person will assist with are:

• Provide phone support to the business users (approximately 80% of the time).
• Perform a software audit and use Zenworks tools to create procedures for the audit.
• Assist with the management/update of the IT Library.
• Create procedures for storage of information.
• Perform phone system capacity tracking and reporting.
• Assist with the creation of call center metrics.
• Audit the email accounts to ensure that information is accurate and assist with LDAP entry.
• Assist with the development of the procedures for the email group program. This will include guidelines around defining and communicating groups and creating procedures for putting people into those groups.
• Creation of Sarbanes Oxley documentation.
• Creation of a catalog of all current images.

Qualified individuals will posses the following attributes:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science.
• Previous IT job related in a help desk environment is a plus.
• Ability to handle multiple projects.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Demonstrated ability to talk with non-technical users.
