Project Engineer, Transmission Lines

Responsible for technical oversight and review of project engineering work performed in support of the development and implementation of transmission line projects.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide project scope development to provide a project that effectively balances technical requirements, constructability, cost, maintainability and operability.
• Provide technical oversight and review of project engineering work performed by external resources in support of the development and implementation of transmission line projects.
• Reviews project design documents (i.e. design summary documents, equipment, material and services specifications, calculations and drawings) prepared by external engineering consultants for compliance to Design Engineering Guides and Standards, standard utility practices, contract requirements and accurate inclusion of project scope details.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Civil discipline is preferred.
• Prefer 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in engineering of linear infrastructure facilities, power generation, transmission or distribution design engineering.
