DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Fully responsible for
the system technical
performance (design,
analysis, validation, test
coverage, and design to
cost) related to Medium
Voltage and Low Voltage
distribution systems and
products.
- Development of complex,
complete ship electrical
systems including electrical
generation, distribution and
protection.
- Customer technical point
of contract (under the
direction of the Product
Line Manager).
- Lead development of
system design and be
technical point of contract
for internal design
development.
- Lead technical aspect of
proposals including
technical proposal
documents.
- Assist in negotiations
specific to the technical
scope of proposals and
change orders.
- Create, configure, and
disseminate system
requirements for designs
(internal & external).
- Maintain expert
knowledge on power
distribution system and
assist Product Line Manager
on future business
opportunities.
- Lead IR&D activities
associated with the power
distribution product line.
- Ensure consistent and
reusable designs among all
Power Distribution Programs.
- 25-50% travel.
