RESPONSIBILITIES: Asset
Maintenance Engineer will have
broad based expertise in
transmission system assets whose
primary accountabilities include
developing asset management
strategy, and evaluating and
instituting best practices.
Creating and implementing asset
health manuals, and ensuring
compliance with established
policies and procedures. This
individual supports asset
maintenance with root cause
analysis, training and analysis
of equipment data trends.
Provide engineering and
technical support to the
maintenance teams while ensuring
safe, reliable, and efficient
operation of the Transmission
system.
1. Develop Asset Management
Strategy, Best Practices, and
Asset Health Manuals as related
to Transmission System assets -
Major Equipment, Relays and
Controls and Structures.
2. Review and apply industry
standards to asset management
process and methodology.
3. Assist in root-cause
analyses of complex equipment
failures and ensure that
equipment failure analysis is
performed timely and
consistently.
4. Conduct audits of existing
substation and transmission
facility configurations to
determine opportunities for
improvements in design,
operational flexibility and
reliability.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor of Science in
Electrical Engineering or
equivalent experience in
substation or transmission line
construction/maintenance. A
minimum of 3-5 years of relevant
experience is required. |
