The biggest Key to our success
in the design drafting business
is how our Design Leaders manage
client projects. Each client and
specific client project has a
primary point of contact at Key,
the designated Design Leader.
This person is responsible for
the successful outcome of each
project, and any additional
staff assigned to the project is
accountable to the Design
Leader. The highest priority for
all Design Leaders in completing
projects is communication. |

The focus on
communication
starts with the initial project
review which includes a
confirmation of expectations and
design requirements, review of
drafting standards, a timeline
for completion and a total
estimate of hours and dollars to
complete the work |
|
Upon
project approval, Key confirms a
project tracking plan with each
client, tracking hours used
versus estimate, progress toward
deadline, site visitation/review
meetings and any other tracking
updates requested by the client. |
|
Upon
completion, Key delivers all
completed design drawings in
requested format, i.e. CD,
plotted drawings, etc., and Key
also completes a QA Survey after
the client has a chance to
review the project for accuracy
and conformance to expectations. |
